TEACHING MISSION  STATEMENT

Stone Creek Golf Club is dedicated to enhancing the game of golf.  We provide excellent programs at a reasonable price for golfers of all ages and abilities.  Our focus is on the whole game, including the full swing, the short game, course management, rules and etiquette, the importance of proper equipment and enjoyment of golf.

Ted Westling, PGA - Director of Instruction

Ted observes, teaches, and coaches each student to understand the importance of clubface position and swing plane.  He has been teaching golf since 1984.  His playing ability has allowed him to be five time Oregon Senior Player of the Year. In 2007 & 2008 he was voted the Oregon Junior Golf Leader.  Winner of the 2012 Player Development Award from the Oregon Professional Golf Association.  He can help your game whether you are a beginner or an accomplished player.

Doug Suse, PGA - Head Golf Professional

Doug has over 20 years of teaching experience and enjoys working with players of all abilities.  Teaching philosophy is based on the fact that there is no perfect swing.  Everyone has a different level of strength, flexibility, and athletic ability.  Video analysis is a helpful tool and is often used to speed up the process of learning and improvement.  Golf is a game and regardless of what your goals are the idea is to have fun!  Focus will always be a combination of technique and playing the game for maximum enjoyment.
